Falls Church Neighborhoods: Sleepy Hollow

Sleepy Hollow is a community of nearly 300 single-family homes in Falls Church. Located just west of Seven Corners and south of Route 50, Sleepy Hollow is convenient to major commuting routes, shopping, and restaurants.

The residents of Sleepy Hollow share a strong sense of community, evidenced by the active civic association, which was founded in 1941. The Sleepy Hollow Civic Association has published a community newsletter, The Legend, since 1954, and the community has had a neighborhood watch since 1981. Residents are encouraged by the association to help neighbors in order to maintain the community’s upkeep, and picnics and community clean-ups are regularly scheduled events in Sleepy Hollow.

Currently, three homes in Sleepy Hollow are listed for sale in MRIS. They range in price from $450,000 for a four-bedroom, two-bath split level, to $1,159,900 forĀ  a four-bedroom, 6.5-bath colonial. One house is currently under contract, and 16 homes changed hands in the last year. The average sold price was $621,875, and the homes sat on the market for an average of 71 days before selling.
