Idylwood Station is a community of just over 60 two- and three-bedroom townhouses. The floor plans range in size from 1,100 square feet to 1,584 square feet, according to local tax records. Located just off Idylwood Road near the intersection with Leesburg Pike (Route 7), the neighborhood is convenient to I-66 and the Beltway, and is less than one mile from the West Falls Church metro station.

The community earns a “walk score” of 60, or somewhat walkable. There are eight restaurants less than one-third of a mile from Idylwood Station, including local favorites Jason’s Deli and Idylwood Grill and Wine Bar. If you’re having a caffeine emergency, there are three coffee shops less than a mile from your doorstep, and three grocery stores are located less than a mile from the neighborhood.

Currently, no homes are actively listed for sale or are under contract in Idylwood Station, according to MRIS, our local MLS. In the past year, just three homes have changed hands, all located on Cartbridge Road. All of them had three bedrooms, and the average sales price was $483,667. The homes that sold sat on the market an average of 116 days before selling, and none were short sales or foreclosures.
