Falls Church Neighborhoods: Cedar Heights
May 10, 2011 by wethmangroupadmin · Leave a Comment
Cedar Heights is a community of nearly 40 single-family homes constructed in the late 1950s. Located south of Arlington Boulevard, north of Leesburg Pike and just east of Seven Corners, the neighborhood is convenient to major commuting routes. It’s also just about dead center between the Ballston metro station and the East Falls Church station.
Cedar Heights earns a walk score of 42, or “car dependent.” However, there are nearly a dozen restaurants within a mile of residents’ front doors, including local favorite Dogfish Head Alehouse. Six grocery stores are also within a mile of the neighborhood.
Currently, no houses are for sale or under contract in MRIS, our local MLS.
In the past year, just one home changed hands in Cedar Heights. That house was a split-level with four bedrooms and 2.5 baths. It was also a short sale. It sold for $393,000 and sat on the market for 174 days before selling.
