December 6, 2011 by · Leave a Comment

Lee Oaks is a condo community comprising about 120 units built in the mid 1980s. Located near the intersection of Lee Highway and West Street, Lee Oaks is convenient to major commuting routes, such as the Beltway and I-66. It’s also a little more than two miles from both the Dunn Loring and West Falls Church metro stations, making it a popular destination for commuters.

With a walk score of 63, Lee Oaks is rated “somewhat walkable.” Nearly a dozen restaurants are within walking distance of residents’ front doors, including local favorites Myanmar and Julian’s Bar and Grill. A half dozen grocery stores are also within one mile of Lee Oaks, as are four coffee shops for that morning (or afternoon) pick-me-up.

Currently, just one unit is listed for sale in Lee Oaks, according to MRIS, our local MLS. It’s a two-bed, two-bath unit with just over 1,200 square feet of living space. It’s been on the market for 23 days with an asking price of $272,900. It is not a short sale or foreclosure.

No units are currently under contract in Lee Oaks.

In the past year, eight homes have changed hands in Lee Oaks. They sat on the market for an average of 44 days before selling for an average price of $236,300. The market is strong in Lee Oaks, as none of the homes that sold last year were short sales or foreclosures.
