Falls Church Neighborhoods: Yacht Club at Sequoia Village

The Yacht Club at Sequoia Village comprises about 70 townhouses. The first phase of the neighborhood was constructed in the mid 1980s. Later, in the mid ’90s more townhomes were added. Located just east of the intersection of Arlington Boulevard (Route 50) and the Beltway, the community is convenient to major commuting routes and is two miles from the Dunn Loring/Merrifield metro station.

The Yacht Club at Sequoia Village earns a walk score of 63, making it “somewhat walkable.” At least a dozen restaurants are within a mile of the neighborhood, including The Original Pancake House (a personal favorite) and Pho 75, a favorite of local residents. The Yacht Club at Sequoia Village is also a great place for those who love the outdoors. It’s close to both Berkley Park and the Providence Recreational Center.

Currently, one home is actively listed for sale in Yacht Club at Sequoia Village. It’s a two-bed, 2.5-bath end unit with 1,640 square feet of living space that was built in 1985. It’s been on the market for 19 days with an asking price of $499,900.

One home is under contract in Yacht Club at Sequoia Village. It’s an interior unit with four bedrooms, three full baths, and one half bath. Built in 1996, it has four levels and 2,510 square feet of living space. This home has been on the market for six days with an asking price of $599,000.

In the past year, five homes changed hands in Yacht Club at Sequoia Village. Three of those homes had two bedrooms and 2.5 baths with 1,640 square feet of living space. Those homes sold for an average of $493,333 and sat on the market for 33 days on average. The other two homes that sold were three-bed, 3.5-bath units with just over 2,000 square feet of living space. The average sales price for those homes was $596,400 and they sat on the market for an average of just nine days before selling. None of the homes that sold were a short sale or a foreclosure.
