What’s Happening in Falls Church

This Saturday, September 15th, head out to the Falls Church Community Center Grounds and Cherry Hill Park for the 37th Annual Falls Church Festival and Taste of Falls Church. Featuring pony and amusement rides, crafts, live entertainment, and samplings from local restaurants, you’ll want to bring your appetite and walking shoes. A children’s activity tent will also be set up, where kids can get their face painted and try their hand at a craft project.

This year’s Taste of Falls Church includes cuisine from more than a dozen local restaurants, including Clare and Don’s Beach Shack & Lazy Sundae, Dogwood Tavern, and Ireland’s Four Provinces. You can sample these wares and more for $25 for 10 “tastes,” or for $3 per “taste.” Once you’ve had your fill, take in some free live entertainment, such as Shenandoah Run or Swamp Poodle, just to name a few.

The event runs from 10am until 4pm.
